Letter From The Pastor

Greetings,

Johnny and I are delighted to welcome you to the Mt. Commadore AME Church Family Website.  All of our ministers and their families, through hearts committed to faith in Christ, join on one accord in fellowship desiring to share Christ’s love with others. We are proud of our incredibly loving, friendly, spiritual and ministering family of faith. These characteristics stem from the personal faith of each believer and our kingdom building mission of the ministries of Mt. Commadore. 

The doors are open to all who would like to worship with us.  Our constant prayer is that our messages will illuminate the life of Jesus and his work, that our teaching will help others to learn about Him, and that the focus on our youth will produce their acceptance in the church. We ensure their involvement in Sunday School, Praise and Worship Teams, outreach ministries, and extra activities for fellowshipping and educating purposes.

All of our ministries strive to broaden and to enhance the spiritual growth in the church and in the community. We are constantly and prayerfully looking for what God would have us do next.  This may lead us all the way to the other side of the world or right across the street. 

Being a part of the Mt. Commadore Family gives you a place to serve and an environment in which you can develop your gifts in serving the Lord and helping others.  Mt. Commadore has faithfully and boldly ministered from this location for over a 100 years; but the commitment is as fresh as each new day.  I hope you will visit Mt. worship experience.
